@danielson, if you want to get MX Linux installed on hard disk, write me a PM and we can go through it step by step in slow motion.

The whole issue at the time, was that MX17 could not install via usb (for me).
No longer an issue with superduper MX18.1!
Distro: MX-18 Continuum
Laptop: HP EliteBook 8460p
CPU: Dual core Intel i5-2520M.
Office: LibreOffice.
Browser: Firefox (Quantum).
