It's a known bug in the kernel, I have read about it somewhere else, you need to press mouse/keyboard button to get screen shows up. At Manjaro forum I saw they have some temporally fix by installing something until bug gets fixed.

No big deal, just reporting, after I upgraded kernel from 4.9.87 to 4.9.126 I'm experiencing the same behavior.
