it seems he wants to have version 4.15 and that is in testing: https://packages.debian.org/search?keywords=i3
same applies to glances with version 2.11 : https://packages.debian.org/search?keywords=glances

Code: Select all

$ apt policy glances
glances:
  Installiert:           2.11.1-6
  Installationskandidat: 2.11.1-6
  Versionstabelle:
 *** 2.11.1-6 100
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
     2.7.1.1-2 500
        500 http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian stretch/main amd64 Packages
        500 http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian stretch/main i386 Packages

I use glances in all distributions to get a quick and reliable overview by Conky's system utilization. I'm very happy with that (at 10 and more Conky's). ;)
