Is a Trinity Desktop spin being developed for AntiX? Just curious. Thanks.

not by the dev team, but I imagine such a thing could be built on top of antiX-core and then the snapshot utility used to make an iso.

you would need a source for trinity deb packages.

Official antiX is all about window managers.

Trinity is a DE so it won't fit in with that group of WMs.

Have you asked on the antiX forum? Or tried respinning it yourself?

It's Debian -based (devuan, actually). I've booted it & found it to be solid (no crashes, no noticeable memory leaks across a 3 or 4 day session)

and comment whether it still seems accurate, still applicable when using the stretch-based TrinityDog?
From test-driving the jessie version a while back, I foggily recall using something like
porteus-boot changes=EXIT along with "save2flash" terminal command to perform mid-session waypoint save operations
to acheive a result similar to antiX "semi-automatic mode persistence".

Ah, reminds me to mention:
someone in the MX forum asked about the possibility of getting frisbee networking program into MX.
The version shipped in TrinityDog might be the most likely compatible candidate.

Yeah. And the frisbee files (bash+gtkdialog) are laden with references to wonky-named (and wonky pathed) external files presumed to be present in any puppy installation... and some of the user-facing frisbee parts are AppRun files (which presume use of roxfiler)

Could you elaborate on what you mean when you say it is perfect?

So, I imagine you could add the Trinity distro's stretch repos to antiX or MX, install the desktop, and see how much fire and smoke come out.

The repo does have source files, but porting them over to our repos would involve a lot of work. Any volunteers?
