Now we will see if system stays up like the modified 17 -

About 5 minutes later system locks, mouse frozen requires hard restart - Ctrl,Alt, Delete does not work presume keyboard is also disabled.

entropyfoe and caprea,

I will go back to 4.15.5 fixes you suggested, make the changes and see it that will let the Ryzen system run the latest patched 4.15.9 kernel tomorrow...

Will seed the MX and AntiX torrents while running AntiX default kernel tonight....

Maybe one important thing you should try is updating your bios, then probably your Pc will be seen as desktop.

In the meanwhile very long bug-report is reported about the msi-boards being the first boards providing a bios-workaround for the ryzen-lockups.
https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=196683#c246

It's something like "Power Supply Idle Control" setting to "typical current".
On the other hand the users are discussing that the energy consumption is increased that way, so they are still not really happy with this workaround.
You maybe want to give that a try.

Anyway, if you want to go on with the boot-parameter, it should also work on the 4.15.9-antix-kernel or the newest 4.15.14-antix-kernel.
