Hi.
I have antiX installed on an old 2.0 USB drive. It works very well. I went to the control center and uncommented the line to show the network manager in the panel. However when I next loggged in, it asks for my password.
How do I auto launch Wicd without having to enter my sudo password?
Thanks.
Possible to auto-launch Wicd without having to enter password?

If you are running liVE then use the wicd boot menu option.
If you are running installed, edit /etc/defualt/wicd. There is a start-dameon option at the top set to no. Set it to yes, save and reboot.

That worked fine. I had 2 instances of Wicd in the panel but commented out the original in the control center method. No password asked for anymore.dolphin_oracle wrote: ... Cheers.
