hello namida12
hello anticapitalista
wicd. the dropping was never instantaneous. ; it will require some observation time period to judge the new setting of /dhclient.conf.
...THough when went to post this answer... it had dropped internet again. this may take some observation time. and that drop after your edit to comment status line 25 has one drop-off now. let me watch it for a while. thanks.

hello namida12 and anticapitalista and asqwerth
anticapitalista says "I don't have that file [etc/default/dnsmasq]."
antix17pre-rc1; Then using synaptic to remove dnsmasq and dnsmasq-base, to install resolvconf has set this machine apart from your test model. this machine is done reporting about networking.

This question or information is far above my knowledge level. I posted because I was worried about this warning of this information,
Yet, I did not remove "dnsmasq and dnsmasq-baseI" as I am not worried about this pre-rc1 it is a temp install until the next public testing version is released.
