How do I check to see if this might be used in my router? Or AntiX?

Red Hat and Debian are among Linux distros affected by the CVE-2017-1000253 vulnerability
And apparently Debian has these patches?

JR
for antiX
it runs as a service (package name dnsmasq and dnsmasq-base), and unless you are running the antiX 17 pre-rc1, you shouldn't have it by default on antiX (or mx for that matter).
none of the antiX or mx releases have used dnsmasq, and both the final antiX 17 and mx17 will not use dnsmasq.

Re: Dnsmasq?
Are you worried about the flaw in Debian? Have you checked your apt history to see if it's been updated recently, and the changelog to to see if that fixed the flaw?
I had an update to dnsmasq-base today...don't know why it was installed. Removing it took nothing else with it.

dnsmasq & dnsmasq-base are installed in AntiX-pre-rc1 (2,76-5.1) <--edited (I installed over 17 b3 testing as I could not get wired connection working after update)
Both updated on Sept 29th...
dnsmasq (2.76-5) to 2.76-5.1
dnsmasq-base (2.76-5+b1) to 2.76-5.1

Re: Dnsmasq?
To clarify for antiX-17.
There is no rc1 version, only the pre-rc1, which was not announced as a pubic release. This does include dnsmasq and dnsmasq-base. Best to remove both and install resolvconf. This will be the default for public rc1 (if we upload one) and final.

resolvconf result is now: that it keeps dropping off wicd wireless. shows connection, but it doesn't work. needs to hit the connect button to down and up again. at first thought it was because the "connect automatically" was not checked. put a check into the "automatic" box; it still drops Off in the middle of everything [use] without a reason (no consistent cause. ) 17pre-rc1 up-to-date.

Re: Dnsmasq?
Make sure /etc/dhcp/dhclient.conf has line 25 commented to look like this:
#prepend domain-name-servers 127.0.0.1;
and set up networking again.
#prepend domain-name-servers 127.0.0.1;
and set up networking again.
