OK, I uploaded the deb to my Google drive: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BxE7w ... GFsTzZyNGc

Edit: changed link above to the -nonsse2 package.

But I'm planning to change the package name to -nonsse2, since it still supports SSE, just not SSE2. So this uploaded package will have to be uninstalled before "palemoon-nonsse2" is installed, since I won't bother to have it conflict with an unreleased package. Or I should have the new version in an hour or so.

Whether the browser still supports sse and therefore can be used on old PIII boxes is no longer the real issue since latest flash in the repos causes those browsers to crash. So it seems that the main issue is that PIII users will not be able to use flash.

That's been the case for a while, though. Unless they installed an older 10.X Flash version with many known security flaws, which MX-Flash would do if it detected an old cpu with no SSE2 support, but IMO that had a serious downside.

@namida

we are working on it. for now try this

sudo ifdown eth0 && sudo ifup eth0

note that you need to change the eth0 to whatever your interface actually is (check ifconfig).
