Re: antiX-17-a2 32 bit only for testing
I did test installs on P3 and Pentium M laptops, and also a Core i3 desktop.
Trivial: No wallpaper appears to be set as default.
When attempting to use the tool to install Adobe Flash, it sat at 'Installing' for so long that I aborted. A second try gave the same result. PepperFlash installed OK.
Codecs Installer worked as expected.
I will install on something with an Nvidia card tomorrow, try the driver installer, and report.
Please ask if anything else specifically needs testing.
Chris

I don't know how to get network working in VirtualBox, I don't have problems with NAT adapter in MX-16.
Re: antiX-17-a2 32 bit only for testing
I used the control center - network - ceni to get network

Seems flash is broken (but not pepperflash).
Those who want to try the nvidia/ati installer in control centre will have to wait for a new deb to hit the repos (I fixed the typo error and it worked on my nvidia box).

A next dist-upgrade (recommended) will bring in quite a lot of changes, hopefully bug fixes and improvements as well as the very latest IceWM I built from its (forked) git repo.
The flash app should work after this upgrade, but you will probably need to symlink /usr/lib/flashplugin-nonfree/libflashplayer.so to /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/

I just got around yesterday to downloading antiX-17-a2 32bit and creating a LiveUSB for it.anticapitalista wrote:*bump*

I've found some problems with the amdgpu driver, but I think I'll create a separate topic for it.
