So far all I've tried is booting to a LiveUSB session in both UEFI non-UEFI modes.

It seems fine, here's a inxi report

The only complaint (minor) that I have is when booting in UEFI mode, the '>>> Advanced Options for antiX-16-b1 <<<' menu doesn't have a 1600x900 option (I editted the one for 1600x1200).
1600x900 is available in the F7 list of console resolutions when you boot the LiveUSB in non-UEFI mode.

This looks great OOTB! I love the wallpaper and the menu is very clear. Fast boot on this old machine.

Some comments installed on machine below (UPDATED):
--wlan0 did not come up automatically, WICD didn't work (no adaptor found) but ceni did. (On the installation this time, settings had been saved from installation on another machine).
--mouse was invisible against the background with default white, thought it was broken but it worked on MX-15, so finally changed to murrine blue; with now b2, mouse is invisible until I simply use arrows to click Menu > Applications > Preferences > CUstomize Look and Feel, and as soon as that dialog screen opens the mouse is visible.
--tried to run Personal > Personal Help Video, but got a gstreamer error ("check log")
--it would be a lot easier on new users IMO if when the dialog for root password came up (on User Manager, for instance) it specified it needed the sudo password--have seen many posts on antiX Forum about this
--can't test multimedia on this machine, too much doesn't work any more (starting with speakers)

its actually the livestreamer backend libraries. No fix at the moment. we will probably need to remove that menu entry.

Looks nice, I wonder though why in KVM (Qemu) the Qt app don't work (black windows and some QPainter errors), they work fine in VirtualBox.

I think I've seen this before but I am not sure what causes it, Qt apps work fine in MX running in KVM.

I think all of them (minstal, isosnapshot, etc), try to launch the iso in KVM, I usually do this: kvm -m 2047 -cdrom antiX-16-b1_386-full.iso
It might have to do with my video card too, who knows...
