seamonkey libstdc++.so.6 not found

#1 Post by jozien » Mon Jan 19, 2015 7:12 pm

I am using a lenovo ThinkCenter and I installed the latest version of mepis 12 64 version.
Can't use seamonkey, when I run it I get error "libstdc++.so.6 not found"
The same version of seamonkey runs on mepis 12 on my laptop, no problem, also on mint 17 64.

How did you install SeaMonkey?

Did you install the SeaMonkey package from the M12 community repository (currently seamonkey_2.32~mozillabinaries-1mcr120+1_amd64.deb), or did you install it from a tarball downloaded from Mozilla.org?

I downloaded the 64 version of seamonkey and that works.

Thanks for the message
