Yes, even I am dishonest. Not in many ways, but in some. Forty-one, I think it is.

I don't think so, I do not plan to leave - although at my age such a decision
is well outside my control (LOL), but unless there's a button that I can not see,
how does one leave the Forum? Blank everything out? richB told me that
user names can not be be changed, so is the Forum's database carrying a
heap of deceased or otherwise departed, members names ?
Re: Changing Account Settings
H'mm, a button that lets a user purge all of their information from the database.
What could possibly go wrong?

Now that's an idea. A few years ago when I was moderating another user group,BitJam wrote:H'mm, a button that lets a user purge all of their information from the database.

I wished for a button that would let me banish unco-operative users and prevent them
from registering under another name. So much for a wish.
NO, I would not want to purge everything of mine from the database, some of it might (?) be
useful for others(not likely in my case). Just a simple way of exiting would be sufficient.
Re: Changing Account Settings
A user who wants to leave makes a request to an admin. The admin then deletes the user from the database.

Nice and simple.
