Does the forum index page update automatic ?
Does the forum index page update automatic ?
Whenever I am on the forum and at the index page I always have to click on link in the upper LH side to get the index to update and was just wondering if it is supposed to update automatic or not. Jerry

As far as I know it doesn't auto-refresh.

Re: Does the forum index page update automatic ?
It does not update automatically. In Firefox you can specify "reload every" with a time interval per tab. Right click and you will see the 'reload every" command. In Google Chrome there is an extension Auto reload that does the same, but by web page.

Opera has the same right-click option.
Yes, even I am dishonest. Not in many ways, but in some. Forty-one, I think it is.

In Opera, it is just off the right-click menu by default--though I never actually tried it to see if it works.

Click anywhere in the body of a web page. You see this after clicking on reload everyDBeckett wrote:I'm not seeing that anywhere.richb wrote:It does not update automatically. The reload option that richb mentions might be installed by a addon.DBeckett wrote:I'm not seeing that anywhere. :confused:richb wrote:It does not update automatically. In Firefox you can specify "reload every" with a time interval per tab. Right click and you will see the 'reload every" command.
I have the 'Tab Mix Plus' addon installed and get the reload option.
I forget if it's available or not without that extension. I would need to create a new profile without any addons to find out.
Re: Does the forum index page update automatic ?
That was going to be my next question. I get only the standard stuff I've always seen.kmathern wrote:The reload option that richb mentions might be installed by a addon.

Sorry it is an addon. Mea culpa. I use ReloadEvery addon.
