Please start by entering your User Control Panel (link under the tabs), then going through to set your preferences. Help on how to use the Forum is available from the FAQs linked below the tabs and from the detailed phpBB User Guide here.

Also review the Forum Rules here.

When asking for help post your hardware specs. Adding them to your signature is suggested . Post the output from the QSI utility within your post.. The Quick System Info (QSI) utility is located in MX Tools or the Application Menu and its output is automatically formatted for use here in the forum. Run the QSI utility, click “Copy for Forum” at the bottom and then just paste it here in your thread. If on another distro, use Inxi -F and enclose the output in code tags by highlighting the text and clicking </> shown at the top of the post.

Please be aware that as a new user, certain forum features will not be available to you until you have posted 5 times. Among them are the ability to have a signature attached to posts, and to change your email. There are also others. After your fifth post these will become available.

It is not a bad idea for all users to review these documents as a refresher.
