OK I miscalled it a hardware firewall because it is on the router hardware. Or maybe not as it is a common term.

...well said, only 1 clarification,
Live-usb maker writes the ISO to USB flashdrives (I think it has an option to save a live system to USB)
while snapshots creates ISOs from [running] live or installed systems.
Thinkpad T430 & Dell Latitude E7450, both with MX-21.3.1
kernal 5.10.0-26-amd64 x86_64; Xfce-4.18.0; 8 GB RAM
Intel Core i5-3380M, Graphics, Audio, Video; & SSDs.
