Has anyone tried replacing locales with locales-all?

I've used dpkg-reconfigure locales for several years. I thought that updating/upgrading locales was a waste of time for me. Especially when it happened more than once on an install.
Yes, even I am dishonest. Not in many ways, but in some. Forty-one, I think it is.
