keystroke to minimize all windows to show desktop

For MX-14x, from a post on the Xfce forum:

Ctrl+Alt+d
Production: 5.10, MX-23 Xfce, AMD FX-4130 Quad-Core, GeForce GT 630/PCIe/SSE2, 16 GB, SSD 120 GB, Data 1TB
Personal: Lenovo X1 Carbon with MX-23 Fluxbox and Windows 10
Other: Raspberry Pi 5 with MX-23 Xfce Raspberry Pi Respin

I wish I knew how to do that in Mepis 12.

According to this here: http://community.linuxmint.com/tutorial/view/47 it looks like it's the same shortcut for KDE4.

That shortcut does nothing in Kubuntu 14.04
Backup: Dell9010, MX-19_B2, Win7, 120 SSD, WD 232GIB HD, 4GB RAM
Primary :Homebrew64 bit Intel duo core 2 GB RAM, 120 GB Kingston SSD, Seagate1TB.
MX-18.2 64bit. Also MX17, Kubuntu14.04 & Puppy 6.3.

Actually, I just realized that it's a toggle, so hit it once to drop them, hit it again to raise them all back up again. Quite cool.

Still doesn't work in 64-bit Mepis 12 (KDE 4.8.4)

In the panel should be a Show Desktop Widget, ( if not add it)
right click on Show Desktop > Show Desktop Settings, then add the keyboard shortcut,
Hold down Ctrl, then Alt and hold it down then d, then release them, Apply and the shortcut will be set.
