@max_tre2000, mostra anche l'uscita al System-info:

Code: Select all

inxi -Ffxz
Gigabyte Z77M-D3H, Intel Xeon E3-1240 V2 (Quad core), 32GB RAM,
GeForce GTX 770, Samsung SSD 850 EVO 500GB, Seagate Barracuda 4TB

@Fhelix,
ora è andato bene:

Code: Select all

$ grub-mkrescue -o grubrescue.iso rescue
xorriso 1.4.6 : RockRidge filesystem manipulator, libburnia project.

Drive current: -outdev 'stdio:grubrescue.iso'
Media current: stdio file, overwriteable
Media status : is blank
Media summary: 0 sessions, 0 data blocks, 0 data, 1117m free
Added to ISO image: directory '/'='/tmp/grub.ETZjhv'
xorriso : UPDATE : 596 files added in 1 seconds
Added to ISO image: directory '/'='/home/demo/rescue'
xorriso : UPDATE : 599 files added in 1 seconds
xorriso : NOTE : Copying to System Area: 512 bytes from file '/usr/lib/grub/i386-pc/boot_hybrid.img'
xorriso : UPDATE :  15.20% done
ISO image produced: 6600 sectors
Written to medium : 6600 sectors at LBA 0
Writing to 'stdio:grubrescue.iso' completed successfully.
Una precisazione, tu avevi scritto

Code: Select all

mkrescure
invece di

Code: Select all

mkrescue
ma avevo comunque scritto giusto

ecco l'altro comando:

Code: Select all

$ inxi -Ffxz

Felix. Now that I read from beginning.... If I am not wrong. Maybe we wrongly understood from the beginning. The guy said that he arrived to start MX Linux only with 586 kernel a non pae kernel and kernel 686 pae gives kernel panic.

Seems that he have installed a MX Linux with non pae kernel 586. For sure his equipment has less than 4 ram,old processor and kernel stacks with panic. I suggested him to do not consider kernel panic of 686 pae because is not his kernel. Probably his processor does not support pae also this kernel.

I checked his laptop and results that he has IBM A31 laptop.

Similar with this.

Code: Select all

CPU Intel Pentium 4-M 1.6 GHz
Cache L2 - 512 KB - Advanced Transfer Cache
Data Bus Speed 400 MHz
Chipset Type Intel 845MP
For sure this processor do not support 686 pae kernel

max_tre2000.

This was the first inxi that he post in the begging of the thread.

and from his words in the first post
Adesso riesco ad avviare il sistema senza problemi solo se dal grub vado in opzioni avanzate e seleziono una qualsiasi delle voci relative ai kernel 586, gli altri, i 686 vanno tutti in errore.
He said (if I am not wrong - Now I can restart system without problem but for this I use one of the lines of 586 kernel.All 696 lines gives me error)

As I understood he has MX Linux 15 and he made update of system.

From the last inxithat he posted seems that is inxi from his MX Linux 17 Live US, that is totally different with MX Linux that he has installed on laptop. I do not understand for what reason Live MX Linux 17, gives no error with kernel 686 and MX Linux 15 gives him error.

Anyway....

Niente da fare anche con il dvd, sempre errore: tentativo di leggere o scrivere al di fuori del disco "hd0" e a seguire kernel panic.

@penguin
il pc supporta pae.

The inxi tells us the CPU is supporting pae and is booting with pae kernels:

Code: Select all

 inxi -Ffxz
...
Kernel: 4.15.0-1-686-pae i686
CPU Flags: ... pae ...
...
