[RISOLTO] MX-16 live CD with MXsnapshot

#1 Post by ROGHIBAU »

-mounting /live/aufs on /live/aufs-
-failed: no such device-

Perché si verifica questo?

Hello, I have this problem, I’m trying MX-16 on VirtualBox.
I have made some changes and used MX snapshot to create a CD live.
The CD live does not work and in splashscreen I can see the word:

-mounting /live/aufs on /live/aufs-
-failed: no such device-

Why this is it verified?

NUOVE INFO

Recommend using MX-17. That is the latest release.

Who made this MX-16.3? Where did you get it from?

Why is MX17 younger than MX16.3 on this torrent tracker ?

He is confusing ANTIX 16.3 with
MX 16.1.
Don't know how, as they have distinct download sites.
But, to be clear, both AntiX 16.x AND MX 16.X derive from Debian 8.x codenamed Jessie,
While both AntiX 17 and MX 17 hail from Debian 9.x, codenamed Stretch.

that isn't MX. That's antiX. and that's because anti updated the 16 series antiX after the antiX 17 release.
