MX 17/18 Repository: The HPLIP Thread

Post by Stevo » Thu May 09, 2019 10:51 pm

We now have a newer HPLIP 3.19.1 in the test repository, backported from upstream Debian. I have the 3.19.3 source, but there are 33 Debian patches for 3.19.1, many of which would have to be refactored to apply to the new version, a task I would prefer to leave to the Debian experts.

Anyway, I hope this helps for newer printers that the main 3.18.X driver does not support.
