Hey guys, would it be possible to get the latest Supertuxcart beta for the MX 18 repos?

Raitsa jr (aged 8 ) would be really happy to get to play the latest version with the online feature (0.10 beta as of today).

Probably have to wait for the release candidates to hit the PPA for us to repackage them--it seems even the developers don't package the betas. https://launchpad.net/~stk/+archive/ubuntu/dev

I tested the Windows 32-bit package in Wine-staging, though, and it ran fine. You may have to fiddle with the graphics options for your particular hardware; I tested with both the integrated Intel graphics and the discrete Nvidia card on this laptop with Bumblebee, and it needed the Nvidia to run artifact-free if I pushed the graphics to 6.

I didn't test the network option, but it was visible.

My manual install tar.xz attempts are were a no go, but I will retry.

This is just a beta version for you to try it out.
It doesn't need to be installed, just download the linux.tar from sourceforge, extract it and click on the run_game.sh.

I have tried it just like that, the game does not start.

Hm, no problem here. Everything works, also the internet option.
