Might be a nice (ha ha) addition for antiX. When I built it, it was 128K total.
Will I cry when it's all over?
When I die will I see Heaven?

Right, it's small, fast (like AntiX) and easy to build from the source.

Code: Select all

 ls -ls /usr/local/bin/nnn
68 -rwxr-xr-x 1 root staff 67000 janv. 4 20:08 /usr/local/bin/nnn

nnn
# q to quit
# Press ? in nnn to see the full list anytime.

The current 2.2 release is in Sid, so should be an easy backport. Be aware it won't appear in any menu unless you add it yourself, though.

If antiX is going to do it, I won't reinvent the wheel by redoing it for MX, though.

... No problem Stevo.
FI:
Especially for images files (jpg, png,and exif, xmp, iptc metadata), a good plugin is also to have ExifTool with nnn

http://owl.phy.queensu.ca/~phil/exiftool/

Code: Select all

nnn -e

# m to see the media info with Exiftool (nnn -e)
To see for a jpeg for example:

Code: Select all

I got it built, but I had to build against libncursesw5-dev instead of libncurses-dev to avoid a build-failure. Maybe Debian changed the package names upstream.
