Request: antiX-cli-cc for MX ?

#1 Post by Hierax_ca » Mon Nov 05, 2018 5:08 pm

antiX-cli-cc is one of the most useful things in antiX could you add it to the MX Test Repo?

Or, even better yet, in the MX Package Installer Popular Applications tab add a section for Cli apps with antiX-cli-cc and cli-aptix (which is already in the stable repo)? Heck, it takes up so little space it could likely even be installed by default. Maybe something to consider for MX 18 ...

These AntiX text-based tools are so useful they should be more accessible/visible so more people can be aware of and benefit from them.

Thanks!

cli-aptix is installed by default. I think it shows up as "command line apt installer" or something like that.

and since the antiX repos are enabled by default on MX, all the antiX tools are available.

FYI: mx "test" repo is not the same thing as debian testing repo.

Yes, cli-aptix is in the stable repo but antiX-cli-cc isn't in any of them.

Are you sure that all the functionality/programs called within antiX-cli-cc, are available in MX too?
If so, it would probably a nice addition ... but I doubt, as lot's of those seem to be antiX specfic, but I'm not sure..
.. need to look anyway
