Xscreensaver has now been updated to 5.39 in the test repo. The new savers in this release (all are in the xscreensaver-gl package) vs. 5.38 are crumbler, maze3d, peepers ( kind of creepy), and razzledazzle, which can be viewed here: https://www.jwz.org/xscreensaver/screenshots/
Since it's still back at 5.36 for all other Debian and Ubuntu users, I also set up a repo for those users on the OBS: https://build.opensuse.org/package/show ... creensaver
Which might pacify the irascible xscreensaver developer...
