Spotify and lyrics, a solution

#1 Post by Eadwine Rose » Thu Apr 12, 2018 3:08 pm

For a long time we have had to endure the Spotify desktop app without lyrics, much to my chagrin because the singer always gets the words wrong! ;)

However, just now I found something, installed with gdebi, started playing Only Time by Enya in Spotify and then started this app alongside. It works!

deb here: http://about.musixmatch.com/desktop-app

It downloads a .deb called musixmatch, and once installed and running things look like in the screenshot on that page. It is a separate program that sits in the taskbar. Apparently it's been here a while longer, but heck, I figured I'd share, and maybe we can offer this in MX?
