Being that we just added it to our repo, how did you get your version?

That is an awkward question, because I do not remember. Was trying to help a forum member convert from Libre Office into EPub (in October), did resolve that by finding that
only the open doc file, .odt, will convert properly and only if there are no embedded images. During this project I read about Calibre so down-loaded it from somewhere, possibly Calibre's own website, I remember that I had problems, but have not recently updated and the version I have says it is 3.34.

We now have the latest 3.35 release, backported from upstream Debian, in the test repository. Also backported were a couple non-free packages to support the Suggested python-unrardll package for rar/cbr support, so you can now use it to organize your vast digital comic book collection. :p

It turns out I sent up a broken upgrade to 3.37.0 to the main repo, so we're putting 3.36.0 back in.

Those that have already upgraded can remove calibre and calibre-bin and wait for 3.36.0 to reappear in the repo, or else manually download and install the packages from this zip: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1ViMji ... gSBTj-iQtm

My apologies to all that have been inconvenienced.

It turns out that the new Calibre releases need a fork of python-cssutils by the Calibre developer, called python-css-parser. Since it's not been packaged by Debian or any derivative, I did so and we now have it and Calibre 3.38.1 in the test repository.

Please let us know how it's working if you give it a try. Thanks!

Now updated to 3.39.1 in the test repo--we're one of the few distros that have it. Changes in this release and older ones can be seen here.

Calibre 3.39.1 has now been moved to main, along with its new python-css-parser dependency, which Debian recently added to its repos and we've backported.
