We don't need them :D If i remember correctly, i've been using a little daemon called "devilspie" ~10 years ago wich, among other things, was capable of removing the decoration of choosed windows.

Edit : and it seems that it has a successor : http://savannah.nongnu.org/projects/devilspie2

You can get rid of the title bar for any maximized window in our XFCE by using the xfce4-windowck-plugin in the panel. The titlebar buttons appear in the taskbar.

My FireFox 59.0 does not provide a GUI choice which affects the presence
or absence of a Title line for the browser. I find that there is indeed
an Xfce4 toggle Alt-F10 which may be enabled to provide somewhat this
function on any Xfce4 window, not just FF59.

Unfortunately, this toggle built-in to MX is disabled by default and hard
to locate just how to enable it. This toggle may be enabled on an MX GUI
from the MX main menu at
Sessions>Window Manager Tweaks>Accessibility>by checking the third box,
labelled 'Hide title of windows when maximized', which may have been
unchecked by default; mine was.

Actually, the Alt-F10 toggle not only toggles-off the window Title area
but also maximizes the window thus maximally enlarging the viewable
screen area. This MX GUI might better be labelled something more like
'Enable Alt-F10 toggle of viewable window area'.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Post 103 was written for upgraded 64-bit MX 17 beta 3 and Firefox 59.0.

For 64-bit MX-17.1, Alt-F10 toggle is enabled by default and works as described in post 103;
The work-around described in post 103 is not needed, nor AFAICT no longer even possible for MX-17.1.
The absence of a Title Bar tweak for FF59 per se still pertains, and may be related to Graphics;
mine are Intel GM45, which I expect may be somewhat limited relative to more current or more
expensive Graphics.

Just updated to last Firefox 59-version and recognized: german language pack doesn't work. This is widely reported in several forums.
Here's a workaround (from an Arch-Linux forum). Works on my MX16 and MX17 machines : https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php ... 4#p1773834

Isn't there another shortcut to minimize the browser window (alt+F10 doesn't do a thing for me with 'Hide title of windows when maximized')?
