Set the value to false. It will persist thorough browser close and reopen. Probably still not what FF 56 and older users are looking for, but a twist on F11.
I have all my maximized application's titlebars hidden with the xfce4-windowck-plugin. It requires that you also go into the Window Manager Tweaks/Accessiblity settings and enable "hide window titles when maximized".

For security reasons.
one may go to about:config
and change

Code: Select all

signon.autofillForms
to

Code: Select all

false
Here is why we should care: https://freedom-to-tinker.com/2017/12/2 ... -managers/

We quit providing firefox-esr because debian is already doing that so the effort would be redundant.

firefox-esr-52.5.2 is currently available directly from debian stretch/stable.

firefox-57.0.4 is now ready for download. This latest release does have a fix to help deal with the Speculative execution side-channel attack ("Spectre"). For more information about what all was fixed, check this link.

firefox-58.0 is now available to upgrade to. Although this version showed up as a full release, it appears to be a beta.
Here's a link to the developers site and another to the release notes page.

Feel free to post any testing notes here - mike

firefox-58.0.2 is now available to upgrade to. This one looks to be for some minor bug fixes.

This update is also good for MEPIS 12, MX 14/15/16.
