Agreed. The colors are terrific as well.asqwerth wrote:I really like that. The pose on the hill slope with the flowers. Nice.

Thanks all for the positive feedback
You can also follow around flocks of Geese with their Goslings, or Ducks and Ducklings... at some point a Fox will attempt to take a youngster, especially if there's Cubs in the den to feed. Like I said in a previous post, it's just a matter waiting still and quiet. I won't post any pics of Foxes taking Goslings... Nature is fascinating, but it definitely isn't "nice"
I'm in London, not far from a large Reservoir complex; the Foxes aren't tame or urban, but they're not truly wild either. They're nervous of people, but are used to seeing them, so won't spook unless you make sudden movements. It's just a matter of getting to know the habitat (I've been visiting the site for over 50 years) and knowing roughly where the Foxes are likely to be, and when.peregrine wrote:I really like the red fox images. I have seen foxes here on the farm but they were always too far away or too fast for getting a picture. How do you get those great shots?

1366 x 768 would be just "ducky" for me as that is the resolution of my 11.6" notebooks. I don't own any larger screened behemoths!

Re: Wildlife wallpapers
Beautiful shots!
I only see the coyote pack at night, so I can't get any well-lit shots. I have managed to line them up and struck the Chris Pratt vs raptor pose from Jurassic World, since they now will catch cheese cubes out of the air and wait in a line for them, but since they fear any other humans, getting a shot of that would involve a timer on the camera. Plus the flash on the camera freaks them out.

You're very fortunate... and I'm a little jealous. Not much you can do about the light at night... the experience is much more important than any pics. And I can clearly see the Coyote in your avatar anyway.Stevo wrote:Beautiful shots!

Yeah, watching Nature has been a bit of a passion of mine for most of my life - it's never boring and often fascinating.frenzy67 wrote:love the fox pic

Thanks again for the positive feedback - I'll PM @peregrine for an account in a minute and upload the 1920*1200 versions of these pics to the main site tomorrow.

Re: Wildlife wallpapers
Sorry. 'Twas my left handed way of thanking him for posting the pictures, now, instead of waiting. I would probably have a larger screen and desktop capable of feeding it if I could afford it. As it is, and has always been, I make do.richb wrote:And what about the rest of us?azrielle wrote:1366 x 768 would be just "ducky" for me as that is the resolution of my 11.6" notebooks.
