I like the corkboard texture on this one. It's great to have a few elegant dark backgrounds as well.

by the way, whats the reasoning behind the 16*10 resolution as opposed to 16*9 e.g 1920*1200 - 1920*1080?
Just curious

Beats me. I only do what I'm told when it comes to the art  seriously, the former guidance was put in place by a long time team member and our former art director.

You aren't the first person to ask that question...
If I was to hazard a guess, its probably because back then, antiX days, there were no widescreen monitors?
Could be.

Thanks Ghosty, it goes great with the blackbird theme, albeit non intentional, as Bob Ross would say "Happy Little Accident"

Happy little accidents make the world go round ;)
Incidentally, is the grey horizontal corrugated background (on the alphas) one of yours too? That's another slick one :)

That's nice to hear Ghosty, I don't know if your anything like me, but I don't use my own wallpapers, by the time I've finished making them, I'm fed up with em. I guess you are the same are you wouldn't be using mine. LoL

To tell the truth I make wallpapers that I'd use myself, and hence I'm using my MX Freedom one right now ;)
