FWIW, I've been using this transparent logo for the Whisker menu lately, since I have a transparent panel. Many of the icons already have transparent backgrounds (eg. apt notifier, HPLIP, mixer, USB unmounter, clipman,...)

Have you seen antechdesign's white or dark Start Buttons in this post:

They aren't transparent but the background is. And the white one has some subtle shading and shadows.

I'll swap over to one of these soon, depending on the wallpaper, which tends to be dark. The icons are looking very good above. I see a new Terminal icon with the green font as I write, which would suit me nicely with the transparent panel style I am using. :happy:

*Edit - could the MX Whisker menu icons have a slightly smaller logo, ie. with more padding. The same general proportions as my old version above scales better with application icons on my Panel's proportions?
