Dolphin preview isue [solved]
Dolphin preview isue [solved]
I using MX-16.1 in KDE trim and I get image preview in all my folders except for my videos folder. I have all folders set the same way but I still don't get any preview image of my videos. I have SMPlayer-thumbnailer installed as I heard it's needed for preview. Does anyone knows how to get Dolphin to preview videos?

I am command line illiterate. I copy & paste to the terminal. Liars, Wiseguys, Trolls, and those without manners will be added to my ignore list.

Close Dolphin. Install ffmpegthumbs
Then open Dolphin, go to Settings -> Configure Dolphin -> General -> Previews and check Video Files (ffmpegthumbs)
Save & OK

I did that already. But I finally figured it out. Dolphin hid the general tab settings for preview and it works now. Thanks.timkb4cq wrote:Close Dolphin. Install ffmpegthumbs
