The new correct version will upgrade over the bad version. If you have manually installed the new "+2" version, you should not have to do any upgrade.

I just cleared things up with Tim, I wasn't clear enough in my PM about having to replace the packages as well as as the original source tarball I misbuilt...the new ones will appear shortly.
