MX Linux is in the top 10 on https://distrowatch.com/
I am command line illiterate. I copy & paste to the terminal. Liars, Wiseguys, Trolls, and those without manners will be added to my ignore list.

Although it's only a "light-hearted way of measuring distro popularity", the trend over the last 12 months is pretty clear... MX Linux is getting more attention and is steadily becoming more popular.

See here for 12/6/3/1 month snapshots.

It is important to keep this in mind: "They correlate neither to usage nor to quality and should not be used to measure the market share of distributions."

I am actually most pleased by this DW metric: https://distrowatch.com/dwres.php?resource=ranking. It shows reader ratings with two important points: MX at position #3 for rating average, and at #1 for number of ratings.
Production: 5.10, MX-23 Xfce, AMD FX-4130 Quad-Core, GeForce GT 630/PCIe/SSE2, 16 GB, SSD 120 GB, Data 1TB
Personal: Lenovo X1 Carbon with MX-23 Fluxbox and Windows 10
Other: Raspberry Pi 5 with MX-23 Xfce Raspberry Pi Respin

Actually it's number 6 for total number of ratings, not 1 (3 behind Solus)

I have said before that MX should get more attention; so if that's happening, I'm pleased.

It's as good as MEPIS or better.

And I assume we have also noticed antiX is only a few positions behind?

yup.

moved 3 positions since the release of 17.1, and higher than previous high. pretty freaking awesome for the kind of distro it is (live, older hardware, and with not-so-popular window managers). Just goes to show how good the system in the antiX world really is. and of course, the fact that folks are starting to see antiX as that systemd-free distro that is apparently doing things faster than devuan. the goals aren't the same, but I get a lot of comments on my youtube channel comparing devuan to antiX.

FYI: mx "test" repo is not the same thing as debian testing repo.

I'm afraid I don't know what devuan is; looking it up. ...I see it's a Debian-based distro that has been around for a little over three years. Why compare it to antiX--it fills the same niche?
