Add Program to Panel
Add Program to Panel
I just took the leap from Mepis 11 to MX 15 KDE. How do i add a program to the bottom panel, specifically Thunderbird. I like to put my most used programs there instead of using the KDE (Lancelot) launcher.
Re: Add Program to Panel
Solved! I just found the "old" KDE launcher menu! It's a widget!

Re: Add Program to Panel
I'll keep playing with it, but being based on KDE makes it a lot easier for me to learn! Thanks!
Re: Add Program to Panel
Keep in mind that Stevo had an excellent KDE remix available.

Re: Add Program to Panel
The other way is to find the .desktop launcher file for the program in /usr/share/applications, then drag and drop it onto the quicklaunch part of the panel (you'll see a "target" spot).
Re: Add Program to Panel
I probably should thank Stevo! I'm using his MX15-x64_KDE version.
