I am not at all sure that the ICE that error refers to has anything to do with the ice application.

When creating your ssb which browser did you select to create it for? Firefox, chromium, google-chrome? Right now it seems like the Firefox ones work without issue, but the google-chrome ones are having a bit of an issue. In a clean VM it works as it should no problem. I then installed on my actual hardware install and had to do some fiddling, but now it works fine. Richb was not able to get it to work with google-chrome.
Thanks for testing it and posting your feedback! ;)

@v3g4n,
I chose chromium, actually it was already selected.

I think the SSB will be a great way to present the Manual.
It will always be the latest version from an SSB.

My results are not very good.

Initially the only browser chosen seemed to be Chromium,
and it created the SSB with Slimjet.

Trying to build one with Firefox, has resulted in no more SSBs build.
Can only mark as Chrome or Firefox; both seem to build an SSB,
but neither will boot. :(

Probably just needs a bit of tuning.

It seems like a good way to present the manual, the URL
would always get the latest version.

Yes there definitely seems to be some niggles with this one, unfortunately. I'm going to be taking a look at an older version to see what has changed since this version is for peppermint 7 which is still in development. Not sure if it will make a difference but worth a look.

Good. I think it still has a place.
I did create an SSB of Reverso dictionary with Chromium
and another of MX Manual current with Firefox.

Trouble with both is that they do depend
on having an active internet connection.
For the manual, an Alt-F1 does similarly to an SSB,
only from a local copy of the manual.

@v3g4n,
Still works OK with Firefox, but no more luck with Slimjet.
Funny, because the first time Ice came into MX,
it built for Slimjet; however, since I tried building with FF,
it will only build for FF.

Ice only has support for Firefox, Chromium & Google Chrome. It will not work with Slimjet until support for other browsers is added.

OK, I can live with that.
Need MX Manual and Reverso.
SSB helps to place them on screen where desired.
