An update for ice_5.1.8 is now available in the test repo.
Since ice is a native package for Peppermint OS, which is based on Ubuntu, ice could not create launchers for chromium because in Ubuntu land chromium is called chromium-browser. A patch was added so you should now be able to create ssb's for Chrome, Chromium & Firefox. Those are the three browsers that are supported at this time so it will not work with other browsers (palemoon, slimjet, etc..).

Thanks.
I use Slimjet daily and use Firefox to build SSBs.
The main benefit is that changes to an SSB
do not affect my daily browsing.

Only thing I would wish for is to be able to use a link to a website-dir on my hard disk.

I have the same query

I found a deb file for it https://launchpadlibrarian.net/17688056 ... .1_all.deb and tried it but it's an older one than in Peppermint and it seems a bit buggy

At the very least I can rebuild the MX-16 package, but I'll look for newer source first.

Serendipity strikes again. Ice 5.3.4, released yesterday, is now available in the MX-17 Test repository (mirrors may not be updated yet).
