Installed without problem over previous version, running well.

thunderbird_45.7.0 is now available to upgrade to.

There are some security fixes in this release. Check the release notes for more information.

The latest thunderbird-45.8.0 is now available to upgrade to.
There was a critical security fix in this release so probably a good idea to upgrade.
CVE-2017-5400: asm.js JIT-spray bypass of ASLR and DEP
JIT-spray targeting asm.js combined with a heap spray allows for a bypass of ASLR and DEP protections leading to potential memory corruption attacks.
This update is good for MX-14,15,16, MEPIS 11 & 12.

Thanks from me too Mike. Found it in the test repo, and for some reason the download was very slow. Still it looks okay so we will see what happens in the morning when most of my mail arrives.

Thunderbird-52.0 is ready to upgrade to. Yes, we really did jump to here from 45.8.
This is a fairly substantial update with significant changes to its depends similar to firefox.
