So wine or wine-staging? I've installed wind-staging and having a tad bit of difficulty getting it started.

The latest wine-staging-1.9.9 is available for download from the test repo. this one will drag a new wine-mono4.6.2 along with it. After installing you might want to run

Code: Select all

apt-get autoremove
to dump any old wine-mono4.[5.6 & 6.0] that came with earlier versions of wine-staging. I've put this one on everything I have and haven't had any problems...so far :p
What's new in this release :
- More work towards the WineD3D command stream.
- Service proxies in WebServices.
- Query support in the builtin reg.exe utility.
- Improved support for long URLs in WinInet.
- Various bug fixes.

Would be nice if even 50% of the Windows programs worked, but I will take what I can. As long a I don't need to boot into Windows!!
