panel icons are stuck left

#1 Post by mmikeinsantarosa » Wed Mar 18, 2015 10:05 am

Strange, after shutting down a VM and getting back to my m12 64 host desktop, I noticed all the icons on the panel had slid to the left. The ones for apt notifier, volume, network and the clock were all jammed up against the 2 dolphin launchers, Konquerer & iceweasel. I opened up the panel options but didn't see anything for these. Left seems to be stuck on left. If I select Right, Left too is still also selected. Where's the control setting for where the "system tray" icons get positioned in the panel? Maybe there's a way to reset the panel to a default?

yet-teh-hay

See if you somehow lost Task Manager from the Panel.

I no longer have a task manager & nothing launched is showing up in the panel.

Then that's your problem. Add it to the Panel. It's just a widget.

Fair warning.... Always Lock Widgets.
Yes, even I am dishonest. Not in many ways, but in some. Forty-one, I think it is.

sure is. Now, whomever is the first to show me how to get the system tray back onto the RH side of that panel, I'll give up my top secret salsa recipe.

It's a widget too. Open up the Panel and drag it to the right (or drag the Task Manager to the left).
