Theming Whisker Menu

#1 Post by Jerry3904 »

I've just added a new item to our Xfce commands running wiki entry (it's all the way at the bottom of the list) pointing to the Developer's blog with posts on how to theme this. The more recent one covers Whisker Menu 2.0, which is now in the MX Test Repo.

I actually do this for my installs, using the information in the link, and have found it easy to follow.

The developer has said in the past that he has no interest in developing a theming GUI. I wonder if that's something that could be added to MX?

Is there a way to increase / decrease the size of the app categories? I'd like them to be like in the Greybird-MX theme

Right click on the application menu icon > Properties > and select your "Category icon size:"
I am command line illiterate. I copy & paste to the terminal. Liars, Wiseguys, Trolls, and those without manners will be added to my ignore list.

I know that whay.

But still, some themes make those larger, some make the categories smaller (i.e.: compare Numix with Greybird for example). I was asking for some variables in the theme file if possible that make it look like that.
