Perhaps, but my 3 year old laptop supports UEFI. If the text is much smaller I would strain to see it.

In Virtualbox on my machine the UEFI menu actually goes "fuller" than full screen (1920x1080, my display is 1600x900), it does automatically resize itself to fit the display when it gets to the desktop.

The UEFI menu fits my 1600x900 display correctly when I'm running on real hardware.

In pre-beta2 I made some changes to the live UEFI boot screen.

edit: I used grub-emu to get the screenshot, the grub screen is at a 800x600 resolution in the screenshot above, I can take a screenshot with the grub screen set to a higher resolution if you want (might not be able to post it as an attachment though).
