Clear sans fonts

#1 Post by zorzi »

Hello,

I really liked these fonts on SolydX distro. But I don't know where to find it/how to install.

If someone knows...

Thanks.

Clear Sans can be installed using the package texlive-fonts-extra. There are a hell of a lot of other interesting fonts in there but be prepared to use 600MB.

This texlive package (like all texlive packages) is built from the CTAN archives. When I want a single font, I go there for specific zip files. Fonts generally matter to the folks supporting CTAN: some inconsistently implemented open source fonts have been corrected or extended (small caps, old style figures, actual bold italics). Examples include Michael Sharpe's garamondx (aka NewG8), fbb (a Bembo clone), and xcharter. My most trusted source for fonts.

Hello,

Thanks for your answer.

But I can't find Clear sans fonts after installing texlive-fonts-extra...

EDIT: It doen't matter. I installed it manually from Richb link.
