Re: Problem with pdfshuffler
Interesting. I use this app all the time for business--couldn't get along without it--and have never had an error.

Re: Problem with pdfshuffler
No prob here either ... after you make whatever changes needed to the pdf, Save As, give it a name and destination ... see what gives?!
Re: Problem with pdfshuffler
Please edit your post using the pencil icon to wrap the information inside of code tags. Example:
log file contents, configuration file contents and terminal text go here
Code: Select all
to make it look like this, which is a lot easier to read for large amounts of text:
1. It really stands out as being separate from the text that you're typing due to the different background and font colors
2. It also puts it inside of its own little frame with its own scrollbars, making it easier to navigate.

Sorry for that,l edit post.
Re: Problem with pdfshuffler
Thanks for editing it. It's much easier to read now.
I don't see any issues with your repositories or your system, but in your other thread
viewtopic.php?f=108&t=51716&p=517215#p517215
you were asking about removing a bunch of programs. Perhaps when you removed one of those it also removed a shared library that pdfshuffler needs. Try removing then reinstalling pdfshuffler and see if that fixes it.
Another thing it could be is a bad or corrupted pdf file. Try it with a different one and see if it has the same problem. You can open LibreOffice Writer, then go to https://lipsum.com/ and generate 20 paragraphs of Lorem Ipsum text then copy and paste it into your Writer document, then in the File dropdown menu choose Export as... and export it as a .pdf file which will be several pages long, then see if you can select more than one page in pdfshuffler and rotate them.

Re: Problem with pdfshuffler
I haven't had the particular problem but I have had a number of similar problems with pdfshuffler. I use it probably 30 times a week, mainly compiling multiple pdf files into one, with various deletions and shuffles. I have a persistent error with files I receive from one Mac user - a multi-page pdf text file and a single page graphics pdf. pdfshuffler fails to save the output. A few years ago, I purchased MasterpdfEditor, which combines these files with no problem.
I still use pdfshuffler as my main tool because of its simplicity and speed.
