MX-17.1 installation: No "badblocks" checking possible unless file system is ext*?

@all:

I still had a note here that I took when working on an MX-17.1 test installation. I noted that in the installer, step 2b. Preferences, "☐ Check for badblocks (takes longer)" was an unavailable option unless an ext* file system had been chosen.

Anyone who can confirm this?
