I use Opera as my go-to browser on desktop, laptop and phone--and have really found it terrific on all fronts. So I was interested to read this blog post that my son sent me:

Monitoring the operabrowser subreddit, the only recurring user compaints I've seen are folks reporting difficulty accessing//viewing google-related sites n services (cannot playback 60fps youtube videos, general youtube and gmail difficulties). However, I've encountered (and bookmarked) some readings which are "less enthusiastic" than that arstechnica article...

By default, extensions are not allowed to access and manipulate search results provided by most built-in engines.
