Kdenlive doesn't look right on MX Linux 18.1 [SOLVED]

Hi all, just a heads up for any linux newb content creators out there attempting to install kdenlive on MX 18.1 -- it does not install all the necessary packages to get the thing running properly. If you're having trouble getting kdenlive to look right, use Synaptic to install the following:

dvdauthor (create DVD-Video files system--because it complains if you don't have it)
kde-runtime (shared data files for the KDE base runtime module)
breeze (Default plasma theme)

That should do it. Then you can load up kdenlive, go to Settings | Theme | Breeze. Also can change Style to Breeze.
