(Solved) start livirtd service

#1

Post by Moltke » Fri Feb 08, 2019 4:20 pm

Hi everyone! Hope you're all having a nice life! :)

How do I start livirtd using sysvinit? Cause obviously

Code: Select all

sudo systemctl start libvirtd
won't work, I already tried :p Do I have to write a script for it to work? Thanks in advance for your answers.

Do you have libvirt-daemon-system installed?

was the first thing I tried and returned: "service unknown: libvirtd" so it didn't work. That's why I asked how to start it.

Now I do. Thank you, that made the trick. After installing it the service was automatically started.
