Liking the new Tabbed and GroupedBar Compact interfaces. Had misgivings but I'm finding it more intuitive. Apparently quite a bit of effort spent on the design.

Still prefer the large Tango icons for legibility although there are more modern choices for younger eyes.

I prefer more obvious icons too, but mostly to just speed up recognition. Nice that they can be switched Tools > Options > View.
Production: 4.15.0-1-amd64, MX-17.1, AMD FX-4130 Quad-Core, GeForce GT 630/PCIe/SSE2, 8 GB, SSD 120 GB, Data 1TB
Testing: AAO 722: 4.15.0-1-386. MX-17.1, AMD C-60 APU, 4 GB
Personal: XPS 13, 4.18.0-19.3-liquorix, 4 GB

Many new features, the most prominent is the new Ribbon interface, which has been called Notebookbar and in the options of the application in English is called as "Tabbed", ie an interface based on tabs. But do not be misled, because beyond the names and differences with the Office Ribbon, which has them, Notebookbar collects ninety percent of its influence from the original Microsoft.
I have to wait to see how the terms used translate into Spanish.
Once you have upgraded to LibreOffice 6.2 you can easily change interface style through the menu: "View> User Interface". And everyone happy!
In the visual section, the contextual menus have been ordered for greater cohesion in the different components of the suite and the customization has been optimized in terms of themes, as you can see if you access the menu: "Tools> Options> LibreOffice > Personalization".
The icon support is improved according to the desktop environment, the elementary theme gives a leap in quality in this version, there are improvements in stability, performance and, of course, interoperability with proprietary or semiprivative Microsoft document formats, " including the old versions that have been abandoned by Microsoft "; there are improvements in HiDPI support, in the encryption of OOXML documents, in the functions of each of the applications that make up the suite.
LibreOffice 6.2 will be the latest version from which The Document Foundation will offer installers for 32-bit. They assure that this does not mean that 32-bit support is eliminated, only that they stop producing binaries. In the best of cases, it seems to indicate that the distributions will be responsible for providing LibreOffice for x86.

I updated from the MX test repository to LibreOffice 6 but it has faults in terms of the spelling correction, instead of correcting characters, I think it is a direct failure from LibreOffice 6 because in another machine where it is installed directly by .deb packages It presents the same problem.
